Waldenburg, 20 February 2008 - R. STAHL has received a EUR 3.5 million order from the Iraqi Oil Ministry. The explosion protection specialist thus remains an active player in the growing oil and gas business and is continuing its positive business trend in fiscal 2008.
The Waldenburg-based company will deliver 9,000 long field lamps, 3,000 pendulum lamps, hand-held lamps, spot lights, and installation material for the expansion of the SAL refinery in northern Iraq. This order will be a good reference for R. STAHL in further bids for reconstruction projects in this region. The lighting products will be manufactured in the Weimar factory and are scheduled to ship out by May.
R. STAHL will probably publish preliminary figures for fiscal 2007 at the end of February.
